In January 2014, the first Business Forum Speakers was re-established by the Lavin Entrepreneurship Center and College of Business at San Diego State University. The first event featured four local community members: Jerry Sanders, Former Mayor of San Diego; George Hadjis, CEO of Oggi’s Pizza and Brewing Co.; David Marino, Executive Vice President of Hughes Marino; Susan Salka, President of AMN Healthcare. Following the January event, three more events were scheduled for May 2014, September 2014, and January of 2015. The May 2014 event featured Stedman Graham, leadership and motivation speaker, on Maximizing Leadership Potential and September’s event invited Steve Fisher, SDSU Head Basketball Coach, to speak on Creating a Successful Team. The January event will feature four panelists.
As project manager, I was in charge of marketing, logistics, coordination, and communication efforts of all events.
